The Super Band Prepares Us For Their New Album | New single from Reign Of Glory
Reign Of Glory, the band formed by Nick Layton (Firewolfe and Q5) on guitar, Roger Dale Martin (Vengeance Rising, Die Happy, and Triple Ace Band) on bass, Jeffrey McCormack (Fifth Angel, Heir Apparent, and Les Carlsen) on drums, and Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ted Nugent, and Soul Sign) on vocals, form this project that already has one previous album (2022’s “All Will Bow”) and is preparing to release its second.
In this case, we are talking about Slingshot, their second album, which will be officially released on July 18, 2025, through the Roxx Records label.
The band had already released a preview single, “Slingshot Of Faith”, and now they are releasing “Higher Ground”, which is already available on the main digital platforms.
Reign Of Glory’s sound is melodic classic heavy metal with a touch of the golden 80s, somewhat reminiscent of the hard rock of those years. In any case, both “Slingshot Of Faith” and “Higher Ground” are two great tracks that show that Reign Of Glory is the real deal.
According to information from the Roxx Records label, the album can be pre-ordered in physical format starting Thursday, June 19, 2025, and the release date will be just four weeks later, on July 18, 2025. “Slingshot” will be released on CD and limited edition “Blood Moon Red” vinyl, with only 300 copies worldwide. “Slingshot” will also be available on all your favorite streaming platforms and digital sites.
Reign Of Glory will also participate in this year’s Immortal Fest, where the band will premiere some of their new songs live for the first time on July 26, 2025, at the BMI Event Center in Versailles, OH, alongside bands such as Saint, Fear Not, Whitecross, Millenial Reign, among others.
