No More Death is the solo project of Tiago Torres, who—for those who don’t know him—is none other than the guitarist for Mad Dragzter, a well-known Brazilian Thrash Metal band that released no fewer than three albums and made a name for itself on the scene. After the band broke up, Tiago Torres launched this new project called No More Death, in which he continues to focus on hard-hitting, old-school Thrash Metal.
He surprised us with his debut album, “The Death Is Dead,” a record that never lets up for a moment, with the thrash energy felt from the first track to the last. In fact, you can check out our review of it or look for the album on digital platforms as well.

But Tiago Torres isn’t stopping there—he’s set his sights on a new album for 2026. It’s a sort of follow-up to “The Death Is Dead,” and with that in mind, No More Death announced the release of “Last Caesar,” their second album, which was originally scheduled for July 2026. However, it seems there were some delays—though, as the guitarist and band leader told us, nothing out of the ordinary actually happened.
“Actually, nothing very special happened—it’s just that we’re very demanding”, he told us, and he also assured us that the delay in the release of “Last Caesar” was due to the fact that “After the success of ‘The Death Is Dead,’ and also some decisions we made toward the end of production—like opting for an old-school mastering process that’s less compressed than modern methods—to truly preserve the incredible sound we captured!!!”; in other words, it doesn’t get any more old-school than that!!!
The thing is, one of No More Death’s defining characteristics is precisely that old-school vibe—that powerful sound achieved without excessive technological intervention and without worrying about what’s “modern.” That penchant for the “vintage” seems set to pay off, though of course, it took some time to get there.
“We just really wanted the album to sound even more furious and organic!”, insisted Tiago, explaining the reason for the delay in the release of “Last Caesar.” “We tried several mastering options until we found the winner! And it turned out incredible!!!”; So now it’s just a matter of waiting.

That time seems to be very close, and “Last Caesar” already has a tentative release date. “We think it’ll be available on all streaming platforms in mid-October, and the physical CD will come out in November!”, Tiago told us, but he also warned us: “We don’t like releasing singles the way it’s so trendy these days!”, he said. “We think of the album as something unique, a single unit! We’re telling a story! In fact, this is the second act of that great story we’re telling, which we call ETERNAL SAGA! So listening to a single song on its own won’t do the whole album justice. And besides, which one would we release? One of the fastest, the heaviest, the most progressive, or the most melodic? Ahahahaha…”; a valid point that’s no small detail, especially since we already know which direction No More Death is heading!
In any case, what can we expect from “Last Caesar”? Well, Tiago Torres himself assured us a few months ago that “…Once again, we’ve returned to No More Death’s signature style when it comes to playing Thrash Metal. But, without a doubt, this new album is different. The first album was direct, dense, and relentless! This new album is more musical, technical, with lots of nuances and passages. Plus, we’ve dared to try new things on some songs. Even something that almost borders on a ballad. Without a doubt, a huge step forward for the band!”; So we can expect an evolution in the musical style that defines No More Death.

“Last Caesar” will feature eight new tracks, including the title track and other intriguing titles like “Fake Peace,” “Merchants Of Faith,” and the enigmatic “2077”; In any case, we have until October/November to find out what this new album is all about, and in the meantime, we can continue to enjoy—or perhaps discover—No More Death’s debut album. To that end, we’re sharing the track “Forever Young” here, one of the explosive songs from that album, and of course, the band’s contact information and social media links so you can stay in touch and keep up with their latest news…
