George Ochoa Reveals Some Details About the New Album... | Worldview Becomes Invincible….
The super combo led by George Rene Ochoa (Deliverance), Rey Parra (Sacred Warrior), Terry Russell (Holy Soldier), Todd Libby (Human Code), and Crystal Mancaruso (backing vocals and lead vocals) has finally released its long-awaited second album, ten years after its first release, “The Chosen Few,” which came out in 2015.

“Invincible” is the title of this new material, released by Girder Records and Pakaderm Music. It was produced by Dino Elefante and George Rene Ochoa and mastered by Bill Metoyer, so we can be sure that quality is not lacking.
The group took 10 years to release a second album, but there is an explanation for that. According to George Ochoa, “It took ten years because of people’s schedules and other projects. Rey had Deny the Fallen, I was working on Human Code and a couple of other projects, Terry had Neon Cross he was doing here and there”; But it seems we won’t have to wait too long for a third album, and from what the experienced guitarist told us, Worldview is here to stay. “I assure you Lord willing, it will not take another 10 years for the next one. Already working on new material”, he said.

To promote this new album, the band has just released the music video for the title track. The video is now available on all major digital platforms. “Invincible” is pure power, strength, and above all, Metal! Ray Parra shares vocals with Crystal Mancaruso (a great vocalist, no doubt!), in a song that truly conveys a lot.
Regarding the concept behind “Invincible,” George told us that “The message behind Invincible is simple. We as human beings are created with massive potential. Most people never tap into their full potential. They are satisfied with a mediocre life. God has endowed us all for great things. Doesn’t always being in the spotlight. Sometimes the righteous things that you do in secret are the things that really count.”

Worldview is a project focused on progressive metal, and this new album features 10 powerful tracks full of high-pitched vocals, complex arrangements, and elite musical mastery. Not only did George Ochoa (who, in addition to being a great guitarist, is also a great producer) participate in its production, but also heavyweights such as Dino Elefante and Bill Metoyer. We hope to have our physical copy soon for a full review.

There is a cover of Ronnie James Dio’s “Don’t Talk to Strangers” that has already received praise from critics and fans on the Internet. Without a doubt, it is a version that respects Dio’s original style, powerful and Heavy Metal, as it should be!
It may seem “strange” for a Christian band to cover a song like Dio’s, but beyond some criticism from the usual religious critics, George not only explains the reason for including the song on the album, but also doubles down on the bet. “I was wondering if we would receive any bad comments on covering a Dio song”, told us, “Only one Facebook group that wouldn’t post the YouTube video because it was a secular song. That’s it so far. We were careful to chose a Dio song that had fairly neutral lyrics. “Don’t Talk To Strangers” is harmless lyrically. We all love Dio in the band. We just wanted to cover a cool song. There will be more songs that we cover in the future.”; And here comes the surprising part. “I have always wanted to do a killer cover of Saxon, “Power And The Glory”. (ed: as far as we’re concerned, bring it on!!!) Maybe that will be next. If readers have any suggestions for us to cover a song, we will listen and perhaps do it.” (ed: and if it’s 80s Metal, even better!).

One of the questions we asked ourselves is whether Worldview plans to perform this new album live. Once again, George Ochoa told us that for the moment, no, and the reason is simple: “We currently don’t have a booking agent or agency. If you are reading this and you can help us this way or know someone who can, contact us at worldviewmetal@gmail.com. We are willing and able to put on a great live show.”

Without a doubt, “Invincible” is shaping up to be one of the albums of the year. The digital previews we’ve heard give us a taste of what is sure to be a great album. It’s worth noting that, in addition to being available digitally, it can also be purchased on CD and vinyl at https://GirderMusic.com. Below, we leave you with the aforementioned Dio cover and, of course, the video for “Invincible” so you can discover what Worldview’s new album is all about…
