Daniel San Martin from Triade shares his impressions... | The Tiempo Final Fest 2025 Is Coming
On August 30, the second part of Tiempo Final Fest 2025 will take place in Berazategui, Buenos Aires. Organized by the friends of the program “Tiempo Final,” this time Triade, Adarga, and Saeta will be playing for free. This will be at the cultural space “Mil Flores,” located at 3027 Calle 7, Berazategui. So if you’re into heavy metal, I can assure you that there will be plenty of it.
Regarding this important date, we were able to talk to Daniel San Martin, leader and guitarist of the legendary Triade, who told us that the band has high expectations… “The last time we played in the southern area was before the pandemic. We have only played once in Berazategui, back in 2007 at the Rigolleau Theater with Aristocracia and Unferné. So this will be the second time we play there.”
On the other hand, we can expect something from Triade’s early days in their set. “Actually, ‘old’ songs that we stopped playing many years ago, haha. Taking advantage of Hernan Real’s return to the band, we are revisiting songs from the first album. For example, on August 19 in Ciudad Evita, we closed with “No hay futuro sin su amor” (one of Triade’s best songs, without a doubt), which is a song we hadn’t played since 2010,” says the legendary guitarist.
Regarding Triade’s future as a band, Daniel San Martin affirms that the band will continue to venture into the metal genre with the style for which they are known, in addition to giving us a preview of what may be their next album. “The direction is to continue with melodic symphonic metal, but always trying to evolve and incorporate new elements. What I can reveal is that the next album will be totally epic, based on the Old Testament, with more complex orchestrations and an added element of dialogue between characters, opera style. So we are also thinking of having guest singers on some tracks.”
Daniel also told us that there will be more dates for Triade to play live soon. “It’s confirmed that we’ll be playing on Friday, October 24, at the UNAJ Auditorium (University of Fcio Varela), along with two other bands. It’s a benefit for ”Jesus en las calles” (Jesus in the Streets), a project of the Iglesia de la Puerta Sur (South Gate Church), which goes out to provide food and assistance to homeless people in the Cruce Varela area. They give food and shelter to people who live under bridges, in ATMs, etc. The entrance fee will be a non-perishable food item. We are looking at some more dates, but they are not confirmed yet.”
What is certain is that the August 30 date in Berazategui is a good opportunity to see and hear a key band in the history of White Metal in Argentina once again. Triade, along with Adarga and Saeta, will be there to make Tiempo Final Fest 2025 a Metal party once again.
