They may have gone unnoticed by many, but Endless Sacrifice has an interesting story to tell. Hailing from the province of Santa Fe, Argentina (one of the places where metal is most resilient), Endless Sacrifice has been in the thick of the battle for a long time—more precisely, since 2009. Their sound is brutal death metal, which is evident in the two albums they’ve released so far.
First came the tremendous “Dominio Total,” released in 2016 via the Vision Of God Records label. An album that leans toward the most extreme side of Death Metal, with overwhelming force and entirely sung in Spanish.

For the second album, we had to wait a few years—pandemic and all—and finally, between 2021 and 2022, Endless Sacrifice’s second album, titled “The Beginning Of Revenge,” was released by Lament Records, presenting some differences from the band’s first album.
Most notably, it is entirely sung in English, and secondly, unlike the first album, all the instrumentation here is handled by Diego “Colo” Barrera himself, the project’s leader and Endless Sacrifice’s guitarist and vocalist. He played all the instruments himself, except for the drums, which were electronic in this case. The result is, once again, a storm of pure Death Metal of the most extreme kind you can hear. At full speed and with full aggression, every Endless Sacrifice track runs you over—and crushes you.
After all that, we didn’t hear much more about Endless Sacrifice… until now. We say “until now” because we got in touch with Diego “Colo” Barrera (who, in addition to leading the band, was also the guitarist for Antidemon on their tours through Argentina and Uruguay—did you know that?), who told us about some upcoming news.

Specifically, Diego told us, “We’re getting back together with the original lineup to rehearse, so we can play some shows and record a third album—that’s the plan. To record it and release it, even if it’s just here in the area.” So, for now, we can expect new material from Endless Sacrifice.
In any case, Diego “Colo” Barrera hasn’t been sitting idle when it comes to his musical activities. For a few years now, since around 2017, he has been working with V.I.L., whose acronym stands for Valor, Identity, and Liberty, and whose sound is also centered on Death Metal. They recently released their first EP, titled “Opresor,” which we’ve discussed on previous occasions. According to Diego, “It’s getting a very good response, and I’m more active with V.I.L.; we’ve played at various venues, twice at the ‘Furia Metal Fest’ in Zárate, and now we’re going to present the album alongside V.I.D.A., here in Rosario. I’m very satisfied with the band’s work, with the response it’s getting, and the reception it’s receiving.”

Endless Sacrifice has made its mark on the underground scene. With two albums released and a third on the way, the band is still active and planning to go out and play live again and prepare new material. Meanwhile, Diego “Colo” Barrera remains active with V.I.L., with whom he is currently promoting “Opresor,” their latest release—highly recommended for a listen and to follow closely.
And to get a sense of what Endless Sacrifice is all about, here are two of their tracks, and of course, links to their social media so you can stay updated on what’s coming up. We’ve also included a link to V.I.L.’s EP, “Opresor,” so you can check it out and follow them closely….
