A New Symphonic Metal Project Emerges | Paradox Messiah Arrives From Ecuador With “No Tengo Miedo”
It’s always gratifying to know that metal continues to resonate in every corner of Latin America, and that bands and projects are working harder and harder to carve out a niche for themselves and showcase their unique styles.
In this case, we’re talking about Paradox Messiah, a project born in Quito, Ecuador, that offers high-quality symphonic metal, proving that here in Latin America, there’s no shortage of grit and the drive to do great things—without any support, but with plenty of guts.
Paradox Messiah was formed in August 2025, as we mentioned, in the city of Quito, Ecuador, and features Verónica Morales on vocals, who holds a certification from the Allegro Music Institute and is also a member of the choir at the Central University of Ecuador, currently serving as a soprano in the D`Yapa & Son choir.
The other member of Paradox Messiah is Eduardo Serrano on guitars. He has over 20 years of experience in the music scene and has collaborated with various groups as a guest musician in live performances and recording sessions.
Together, they shape what Paradox Messiah is: an interesting project centered on a symphonic metal sound, making its debut with its first single. We’re talking about “No Tengo Miedo,” a track available on digital platforms, for which an engaging music video was also released.
“No Tengo Miedo” showcases Paradox Messiah’s sound. What awaits us is a powerful, fast-paced track heavily influenced by power metal and classical music, resulting in a tremendous blast. This is the band’s first step, and how they’re introducing themselves to the world. There was no better way to do it.
The sound really hits hard. Its fiery rhythm and foundations, clearly influenced by traditional metal and the great names of power metal, are signs that this is a project worth paying attention to.
Regarding this project, the band itself posted on their social media a few days ago that “We believe there are many things that need to come out, many emotions we need to express—pain, sadness, outrage, joy, prayers for justice, healing, renewal, etc. And music is the best vehicle to express all of this, which is why we’ve been working on creating this musical project that we’re now officially presenting. This seemed far off, difficult to achieve. We had to overcome some challenges, but God strengthened us along the way, and today, with joy, we want to present to you our musical ship on which we are going to sail!”
