Zamarbide Kicks Off Tour In September Through Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia | El Fin De Los Inicuos 40th Anniversary Tour

“El Fin De Los Inicuos” was V8’s third and final album. Released in 1986, it was somewhat controversial and hotly debated at the time—primarily due to the content of the lyrics on the included tracks, which reflected the band’s shift toward a Christian outlook—even though V8 maintained until the very end the rebellious and explosive style for which they were always known. This, combined with the poor production the album received from the label the band was signed to, contributed to “El Fin De Los Inicuos” being one of the most underrated albums by V8 and in Argentine metal of the ’80s—despite the gems it contains: great Heavy Metal anthems that have been captured and immortalized on this album.

“El Fin De Los Inicuos” contains nine powerful tracks, including “No Enloqueceré,” an old song from the band’s early days that appears here with different lyrics. Classics like “La Gran Ramera” or “Ciega Ambición,” the tremendous musical adaptation of Psalm 58 reimagined in V8’s signature sound, that anthem-like track “Trágico Siglo,” and more. It’s rare to find an album where every single track is a classic in its own right, and that’s exactly the case with “El Fin De Los Inicuos.”
To do it a bit justice, Zamarbide—who was V8’s lead singer throughout the band’s entire history—has decided to embark on a tour whose theme will be precisely the 40th anniversary of “El Fin De Los Inicuos.” During this tour, he will surely revisit some of those beloved old anthems of Chilean heavy metal alongside classics from V8’s two previous albums, such as “Luchando Por El Metal” and “Un Paso Más En La Batalla”—something Zamarbide has already been doing in recent years—alongside the immortal classics by Logos, which are always worth revisiting.

This tour will kick off in September and will be an opportunity to see the timeless Alberto Zamarbide back on stage to celebrate four decades of a masterpiece of Argentine heavy metal—and, at the same time, what was V8’s final album.
Let’s not forget that in 2025, Zamarbide undertook an extensive tour across much of Argentina to mark the 40th and 30th anniversaries of two albums that left their mark on his history with heavy metal—and, of course, on the national metal scene. Those albums were V8’s “Un Paso Más En La Batalla” and Logos’ “Generación Mutante.” In each case, Zamarbide performed the aforementioned V8 album in its entirety, along with several classics from Logos’ well-known second album. In that regard, we recall the words we wrote after witnessing that show on September 13, 2025, at “Palermo Groove”: “…We witnessed something historic, and the memory, the nostalgia, and that strange feeling of knowing how much we need V8 today flashed through the minds and souls of each and every one of us. Because only those of us who grew up and were inspired in life by the message of V8 know how it feels every time one of their anthems plays. Those who feel Metal know it; for the rest, it’s just historical music, and nothing more. Another issue aside…”

We still don’t know for sure which musicians will accompany Alberto Zamarbide on this new tour, but we think the lineup won’t differ much from the one that accompanied him in 2025. On that occasion, the band formed a relentless combo, performing every V8 and Logos anthem with power and intensity.
This new Zamarbide tour will be an anthological journey through the history of V8—a tour that promises a lot. So far, the confirmed dates for this tour are as follows:
