MetalBreed Magazine No. 6 – 2018
It was possibly one of the best things ever done in Argentina to promote White Metal. With great dedication, professionalism, and above all, a passion for metal, MetalBreed Magazine was a digital publication released between 2016 and 2019 by Claudia Saavedra, who at the time hosted the radio show “Raza Metalera.”
The quality of this publication is one of its most notable features. The approach to the articles, the covers, the information, album reviews, and more were all executed at a level truly worth mentioning. Furthermore, we must not overlook the striking graphics, presented in color and with a level of excellence that’s hard to match. Completely free and available as a digital PDF, MetalBreed Magazine managed to become one of the best zines produced in Argentina.
There were a total of nine issues, featuring many historic and important interviews. Today, the website has become a Blogspot where you can explore its history and read truly interesting articles.
As a sort of tribute and to commemorate this excellent publication, we’re sharing Issue No. 6 here, which features Boanerges on the cover and includes interviews with Dale Thompson of Bride, Doble Filo from Santa Fe (who are back these days), Antidemon, Within Silence, Guarnición, and others, plus album reviews, news, and more. A sample of the excellence and quality that MetalBreed Magazine embodied. In our opinion, one of the best ventures ever undertaken in Argentina. God willing, one day it may return to the scene and continue its truly impeccable work.
And since we always support the scene and everything done with soul, guts, and heart, we felt it was important to highlight MetalBreed as a tribute to one of the best zines we’ve ever seen and read.
