It is possibly the most eagerly awaited album in recent times. Deliverance is not only a legend but also a much-loved band within the White Metal scene, with a discography as rich as it is varied, and among the upcoming albums expected between late 2025 and early 2026, their next release is causing quite a stir, especially due to the long-awaited return of the indestructible George Ochoa on guitars, which leads us to suspect that it will be a great album.

The last thing Deliverance released was the re-recording of “Camelot In Smithereens” in 2022, but when it comes strictly to new material, we have to go back to 2018 when “The Subversive Kind” was released, the band’s last album with new songs.
Beyond a new reissue of the classic “Weapons Of Our Warfare,” an album that is celebrating no less than 35 years, in a double LP version with eight bonus tracks, the truth is that the new material is a long time coming. There are high expectations.

We had already announced at the time that the band was planning to release a new album, and it seems that the band is working on it, according to what Jimmy P. Brown II told us. The new material still has no title. “No title as of yet, but I will be working on that when all the lyrics are written”, says Jimmy. We had already indicated that the rumors that it would be called “Twelve” were false. On the other hand, everything indicates that there is no specific deadline or time frame for its release. “When the album is ready, it will be released”, were his enigmatic words. We will have to be patient and stay tuned.
As for the possibility of hearing a preview or a new song in the future, Jimmy assures us that this will not happen because “I’m not a fan of releasing a part at a time.”
Regarding the musical style of the new album, the well-known vocalist of the “Big D” warns us that “Get ready for a surprise! And no, just because I’m working with George, it will NOT be Weapons II…”; Mystery…

At the moment, there are no shows scheduled for Deliverance for the rest of 2025. When we asked, Jimmy said that nothing is planned and that the priority is to finish the new album.
