Bride returns to Brazil, and this time accompanying Stryper on their Latin American tour. On this occasion, together with Narnia, who will also be on the line-up.
As we have already mentioned and have been announcing, Stryper is in the middle of their Latin American tour, but for their Brazil tour, they will be accompanied by both Narnia and Bride between July 27 and August 2.
We asked Troy Thompson, Bride’s guitarist, about his feelings regarding this tour in Brazil, and he told us that “Of all of the places that we play, Brazil is our favorite. The fans there are the best in the world. We expect to have some great shows just like all the other times we have played in Brazil.” Troy also referred to the impossibility for Bride to perform in other countries such as Argentina, “It would have been nice to have included several more shows on the tour in other countries such as Argentina, but that is not happening this time.” (Editor’s note: phone for the Argentina producer).
Regarding sharing the stage with two great bands such as Stryper and Narnia, Bride’s guitarist told us that “It has been a while, but we have played with Stryper and Michael Sweet in the past. They are an incredible group and really nice guys. We have never played with Narnia, but are very much looking forward to it.”

Bride is a band with a history dating back to the ’80s and with a lot of classics and new songs to play. Regarding the possible set list for the tour, Troy told us that “We have a limited amount of time to perform since we are an opening act, but we will play some of the old favorites such as “Would you die for me”, “Rattlesnake”, and “Everybody knows my name”, etc. We will also do at least one song from our newly released CD “Vipers and Shadows”. One special song that we plan to play as well is an old favorite that many people have requested from the live to die album called “Heroes”.
Obviously, those of us who know the Thompson brothers know that they are people who never ever stop, and Troy confirms this, “Dale and I will probably always release new music. We have already started writing for another project. We also have several shows lined up in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Germany, and others in the United States. I feel that we have been called by God to help spread his word throughout the world with our music. I don’t see that ever stopping”, which confirms our guess. We have Bride for a while!
