The classic Heavy Metal band Triade, who have been fighting for several years in the underground scene, and after the mandatory hiatus caused by the death of their previous vocalist Jose Barquini, announce that they are back to rehearsals with the idea of starting again to play live and maybe even record new material. We had a short talk with their leader and guitarist, the beloved Daniel San Martin (old warrior if there is one) who confirmed the return of Triade, with the comeback to the band of Hernan Real, who was the first vocalist of the band, so the current line-up of Triade consists of the mentioned on vocals, Daniel San Martin on guitar and backing vocals, Horacio Propezzi on bass and backing vocals, Pablo Rizzo on second guitar and Alex Val on drums.
Daniel San Martin told us that “In principle the idea is to rehearse again and go out to play. Since with the illness and the death of Jose we haven’t played for 2 years. Then until we were able to get back together we were stopped for a long time. So we are starting to rehearse with the intention of making concerts and also the idea of making a video soon”; on the other hand he also told us that ‘There are already new songs to be able to record an album and also, maybe what we are thinking is to do some of the songs from the last album with Hernan’s voice’.

For those who do not know the history and trajectory of the band, it is worth remembering that Triade has a long history in the Heavy Metal underground since 1995, having already released three independent productions. “El Fin De La Maldad”, released in 2000, ‘Héroes De La Fe’, released in 2004 and finally ‘El León Y El Dragón’, released in 2022. All in all, we are looking forward to the return of these old and beloved Metal warriors, and if it is with new material, welcome!
