Cultist presents their first full-length album | Cult to the Brutality
Thanks to the label Facedown Records, comes to us in digital format, the first album of Cultist, an American band from Southern California. The album in question is called “Slow Suicide”, which contains just 8 tracks in which we can appreciate that Cultist is hardcore but related to the Death Metal bands from the east coast of USA, a genre popularly known as Deathcore. Guttural vocals, mid-tempo songs and with the intensity that any hardcore band can have, Cultist achieves an interesting first work for lovers of the style. We could define it as a cross between early Slipknot, Florida Death Metal and the most visceral Hardcore. An interesting mix with a really brutal sound. We are waiting for a physical version for a better analysis.

The band previously released 2 EP’s and 3 singles in digital and independent format, and from now on, they are part of the Facedown Records team, label through which they are releasing this first full-length. Among the songs of this work, are “Suffering By My Own Hand” and “Slow Suicide”, of which are available in both cases, the corresponding video clips in the main digital channels.
Cultist has just announced a tour (yes of course, in the USA) during this month of March to officially present “Slow Suicide” and the band has just confirmed that they will be part of the “Exodo Fest” festival in Mexico, which will be their first time in Latin lands.
