We first discovered Allos through their excellent albums. Both 2012’s “Spiritual Battle” and 2024’s “Strong Delusion” proved that this Brazilian band is a force to be reckoned with in the world of Progressive Power Metal.
Featuring several well-known figures from the scene, such as Christian Liljegren (Narnia) and Rob Rock (Impelliteri), “Strong Delusion” became not only Allos’s latest album but also one of their finest works, both in terms of compositional quality and the musical vision presented. In fact, the well-known vocalist for Impelliteri and M.A.R.S., among others, recorded the vocals for the track “Millennium Kingdom,” a version of which can be heard on “Strong Delusion.” Now, it’s time for the release of the original version of that song.

Incidentally, Celso Alves, Allos’s vocalist, shared the details with us: “When we invited Rob Rock to record his guest appearance, the album was already virtually finished. During a dinner, we invited him to join us on stage for the show we were playing the following day. Since there wasn’t enough time for us to rehearse together, he suggested contributing to the album by recording one of the songs instead. We carefully chose “Millennium Kingdom,” and I personally arranged the vocal parts to make the most of the power and brilliance of what many people call “The Voice of Melodic Metal.” The result was outstanding, exactly as we had expected.”
Now it’s time to discover the original version of “Millennium Kingdom,” in a special edition that Allos will release starting June 26 in digital format. Continuing his story, and beyond the version featuring Rob Rock, Celso told us that “…Even so, we kept the original version—featuring only my vocals—safely stored, waiting for the right moment to release it. That’s the version we’re making available now, just as we previously did with “Follow Me”, whose album version featured Christian Liljegren of Narnia.”

This “alternative” version of Allos’s track “Millennium Kingdom” will be available on all digital platforms in a few days, as previously announced, but while we were at it, we had to ask Celso Alves about Allos’s current status and whether they’re working on anything new. “At the moment, we’re not actively working on any new releases”, the Allos singer clarified, “However, music is part of our DNA, so we’re always writing, collecting ideas, and developing new songs. We hope that, when the time is right, we’ll be able to turn those ideas into a new release and share them with Metal fans”, was his hopeful message regarding Allos’ future as band.
Beyond that, Celso gave us an exclusive update on his upcoming solo project, which he’s currently working on. “I can exclusively reveal that I’m currently working on a new solo project”, he told us. “The first single has already been recorded and is now in the mixing stage, with its release scheduled for August 2026. It’s a project that is completely different from what I do with Allos, leaning much more toward traditional Heavy Metal.”

In any case, Celso Alves has no plans to set Allos aside. Regarding this, he commented, “I sincerely hope Allos returns someday to record and release the songs we’ve already started building. And when that day comes, I’ll be ready to give it everything I’ve got”, though he clarified beforehand that “…until then, I’ll definitely be staying active in music.”
So, for now, Allos’s new release will be the “alternative” version of “Millennium Kingdom,” set to be unveiled and released on June 26, 2026 (unless it’s already available by the time you read this), but we’ll also soon have news about Celso’s new solo project—a traditional heavy metal endeavor—which, as announced, is set to be released in August of this year.
In the meantime, here’s Allos’s excellent cover of the Narnia classic “The Witch and the Lion,” the official music video for “Tele Visione of Reality” from their latest album, and the links to follow the band on social media and stay up to date on their latest news…
