“Eternal,” Their New Album, Will Be Released in March 2026 | Ignescent Moves Toward The Eternal…
The modern metal or modern rock band, whichever the reader prefers to call them, has announced the official release date of their new album. The official release date for “Eternal” will be March 20, 2026, through the Frontiers Music SRL label (the same label that releases Stryper and Impelliteri, among others).
In support of the new release, Ignescent has released the song “Joker,” a preview single from the new album, on various digital platforms.
Regarding “Joker,” Jennifer Benson commented, “The track is about when the people we love – or thought loved us – hurt and betray us with their words. It’s about the kind of pain that cuts deeper than we expect – when gossip, lies, or broken trust awaken something dark inside. The hurt stirs the Hyde within, and in the aftermath, we’re left feeling like fools forever believing in their love. “I’ll be a joker for you” becomes both a confession and a declaration – a raw acknowledgment of the scars left behind.”
The Ignescent vocalist continued, “Driven by haunting vocals and explosive energy, the track dives into the tension between heartbreak and healing – between vengeance and grace. It’s an anthem for anyone who’s been wounded by words yet still chooses to rise.”

The band expressed their enthusiasm for the new album, saying, “We’re beyond excited to announce our brand-new album “Eternal”, dropping March 2026! This one’s a battle cry – for faith, for hope, for forever. What’s eternal cannot be shaken.”
The press release also highlights that throughout their career, Ignescent has had a notable impact on the rock scene. Their single “Remnant” reached No. 46 on Billboard’s rock charts, while their debut EP, Electrified, was produced by four-time Dove Award winner and Grammy nominee Travis Wyrick (10 Years, P.O.D.). The lead single, “Calling Out To You,” co-written with former Skillet guitarist Ben Kasica, also entered the Billboard Rock Top 30. Since 2018, the band has been touring the Midwest, Nashville, and later Europe, following the release of their album “Fight In Me” through Frontiers Records Srl.
Thanks to the folks at Frontiers, we were able to get a sneak peek at the entire album, and we can tell you that “Eternal” is sure to appeal to those looking for a heavy, modern sound with that explosive mix of what could be Evanescence, Skillet, Jinjer, etc.
Without a doubt, “Eternal” is the most powerful thing Ignescent has produced so far. Beyond our personal preferences (those who know us know), we can say that the sound achieved on this new album hits hard. The album has 10 tracks, short, direct, and powerful. To start with, the well-known “Joker” is the opening track, with a pop and melodic structure but with the force that characterizes Ignescent.
The vibe of the album clearly shows the current trend of mixing heavy rock, melody, and traces of the most modern metal possible with strong bass lines and heavy riffs. “Fight For Me” and “Fearless” are examples of this vibe. On the other hand, ‘Scream’ and “Shame Shadow” seem to lean more towards melodic metalcore.

There is also time for a ballad like “Light Up The Night,” which is a possible next single, as well as “In The Dark.” “Chariot Of Fire” and “Eternal” complete the list of songs on this new album.
All the songs are catchy enough to interest anyone. If it’s not the choruses, it’s the sound, or Jennifer Benson’s very personal voice. One way or another, “Eternal” finds a way to hook you with its sound.
The production on this album is excellent, and what stands out most is its powerful sound. And that’s even though we’re only listening to a digital version of this album. I can assure you that “Eternal” is one of the best things Ignescent has done and will likely bring the band a lot of satisfaction. Mark this album down as one of the possible albums of the year in 2026.
“Eternal” was produced by Jeremy Valentine (New Years Day) and Brandon Wolfe, with ‘Fearless’ co-written with Sameer Bhattacharya of Flyleaf and “Chariot Of Fire” featuring Clint Lowery of Sevendust.
