“Away From The Noise” Will Be The Title Of The New Album | German Pascual Is Preparing An Acoustic Album
He had hinted at something in the last interview we had with him, around June of this year, and it seems that we’ll soon have news about German Pascual’s new solo project—but this time, from a completely different perspective.
“Away From The Noise”, the title of the new album—which is likely to be released in early 2027—already gives us a hint about its content: unlike anything we’ve heard from German Pascual before, it will be entirely acoustic.
As a preview of the new album, the digital release of two singles that will be included on “Away From The Noise” has been announced; first up will be a Swedish-language version of the Christmas classic “O Holy Night”, titled “O Helga Natt”, set for release on November 25 of this year.
In addition, the release of the second single was announced for January 2027; it will be an acoustic version of “Rain”, a track included on Narnia’s album “Curse Of A Generation”, on which Germán served as the band’s vocalist. This version is a reinterpretation of that song, which we’ll get to hear early next year.

“The new album represents a pretty different direction compared to my previous work, although at the same time I feel it’s a very natural evolution of everything I’ve done so far”, Germán had told us in June, and expanding on that idea, he added, “I think that over the years I’ve lost my fear of showing myself in a more vulnerable and musically honest way. I’ve always loved melodic metal, and that part of me is still there, but today I’m much more interested in conveying deep emotions than simply trying to sound heavy or technical”.
Germán Pascual has two previous albums, “A New Beginning” and “Beyond Our Comprehensions”, in which the concept revolved around a blend of Melodic Power Metal and Progressive elements, with a strong impact both musically and lyrically. Now it’s time for “Away From The Noise”, something entirely different that, in a way, portrays an idea Germán himself describes as a concept album combining acoustic arrangements with a more intimate musical approach.
For this project, he collaborated with Nenel Lucena on acoustic guitars—as well as on mixing and mastering—Davih Silvera on piano, and Renato De Sá on cello, and, of course, Germán Pascual on vocals. But it doesn’t end there, because as he had previously hinted, the album will feature several surprises; “There will be some very special guests, something that honestly excites me a lot”, Germán told us. “Among them are Jonatan Samuelsson and CJ Grimmark from Narnia, as well as Fredrik Sjöholm from Veni Domine, who will likely appear on the song “Away From The Noise”, and another collaboration that makes me really happy is with Juninho Afram from Oficina G3. To me, he’s a true genius and someone I respect immensely musically”.

Earlier this year, Germán Pascual took part in the tribute marking the 40th anniversary of Stryper’s “To Hell With The Devil”, where he contributed a tremendous acoustic version of “Honestly”. That’s where we can trace the origins of this idea to release an acoustic album, and in that regard, Germán told us the following: “Much of this new direction began thanks to my cover of Stryper’s “Honestly”, he confirmed at the time. “That song ended up opening many doors for me and was exactly what caught Roxx Records’ attention. They heard that cover and basically offered me a contract right after listening to it. When we started talking and I mentioned that I’d wanted to record a more acoustic, atmospheric, and emotional album for a long time, they simply said, “Well, let’s do it.” And that’s how “Away from the Noise” began to take shape.
In the interview published in June of this year, Germán gave us some details about this new project and shared some ideas about what “Away From The Noise” will be like. He told us that he doesn’t see it as just an acoustic album; “For me, it’s more of a conceptual and artistic work where each song represents different emotional and spiritual states I’ve experienced over the years”, he told us. Delving a little deeper into the subject, he added, “The lyrics are probably the most personal I’ve written so far. There’s a lot of inner struggle, silence, hope, emotional exhaustion, faith, and a search for peace amid the constant noise of modern life. Musically, there are still progressive and melodic elements, but expressed in a much more subtle, intimate, and cinematic way. Emotion has come to occupy the very center of everything”.

“Away From The Noise” is a different album—and, musically speaking, much deeper—than German Pascual’s previous works. It’s a serious, honest effort with a much more intense sense of intimacy. “I think some people are going to be quite surprised by this album because it’s not the kind of work many would expect after my previous albums”, Germán concludes, adding that “I honestly, I feel it represents much more who I am today as an artist and as a person. And that’s exactly why it’s probably the most important and most honest album I’ve made in my entire career”.
On November 25, we’ll get to enjoy the first lead single. As we mentioned, it will be “O Helga Natt”, the acoustic, Swedish-language version of “O Holy Night”, and then, in early 2027, we can look forward to the second single, “Rain”, an acoustic version of a song by Narnia. Both tracks set the stage for the official release of “Away From The Noise”, Germán Pascual’s new album.
Here are a few highlights from Germán’s latest solo work, and of course, we’ve included his social media links so you can follow him and stay up to date on his latest news….
