The Sons Of Thunder Announce New Dates | Boanerges News
Boanerges’ activity between 2025 and this year has been slow and steady, with the band playing occasional shows—sparingly, but staying active nonetheless. Their last show was in May in Tandil alongside Bertoncelli, which, incidentally, was also their first show of 2026; now it’s time for two new shows that have just been announced.
It’s worth noting that the band released their latest album, “InconsciencIA,” toward the end of 2024, in both physical and digital formats, having released “Cambios De ADN” as the lead single from that album. In fact, Boanerges filmed and released a music video for that track in 2025, thereby settling an outstanding matter—they had never before released an official video like this one, despite the band’s long career.
In “Cambios de ADN,” we see the band performing in dark scenes on a stage where emptiness seems to be gaining ground. In 4K format and with the professional polish that characterizes everything Boanerges does, the music video in question showcases the band at its best, featuring one of the tracks from “InconsciencIA” in which Boanerges most strongly emphasizes the stylistic changes proposed by their latest album.
This new work was filmed on November 14, 2025, at “Buffalo’s Music” in the Agronomía neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the direction of Leonardo Chiarenza, and has been available for viewing on digital platforms ever since.
Indeed, “InconsciencIA” surprises with greater musical introspection, and marks a departure for Boanerges from what we’ve come to expect from the band, while also paying tribute to various bands with covers of songs by V8, Iron Maiden, Impelliteri, Rata Blanca, Logos, Stryper, and even Extol—the latter being the band’s boldest move on an album that’s well worth taking the time to listen to carefully.
Following their May show in the Argentine town of Tandil alongside Bertoncelli, Boanerges has just announced two specific dates, both in the southern suburbs of Buenos Aires, where they are returning after several years; The first date is October 31 as part of a festival called “Ilumina Fest,” to be held at “Parque Don Orione” in that town, alongside other bands starting at 3:00 p.m. and free of charge.
The next show will be on November 7 at the “Auditorio Revival,” located at 3353 Eva Perón Avenue (formerly Pasco) in Temperley, where they will share the stage with Miguel Roldán, formerly of V8 and Logos, who is also in the midst of a busy tour schedule and intense activity. Advance tickets are now available.
Both events will be a great opportunity to see the “Sons of Thunder” back on stage once again. As mentioned earlier, they’re currently promoting their latest album, “InsconsciencIA,” and, as expected, will of course be performing their all-time classics live.
