As a kind of revival of what happened that night in December at the well-known Marquee Session Live, Miguel Roldán (former guitarist for V8 and Logos, in case anyone is unaware) will once again be performing with his project, which recalls the good old days of Logos. He won’t be alone. Just like last time, he’ll be joined on this adventure by the legendary Barni, who, along with his boys, will surely be revisiting the highlights of their discography.
And if that weren’t enough, Lázaro will once again take to the stage to showcase his powerful story set to music, and the main attraction will be the new band Raza Fuerte, the fierce band from the northern part of Buenos Aires, who are also returning to live performances after a period of inactivity.

This year, 2026, will be marked by the 40th anniversary of V8’s album El Fin De Los Inicuos, an album that had Roldán among its creators, so it would not be unreasonable to think that the guitarist will be performing some of the classics from what was ultimately the last album by the greatest Argentine Heavy Metal band alongside his bandmates. We can also expect several Logos classics and perhaps a few new songs.

Luis Barni has been reviewing his entire career and discography, so we assume that his show will not be very different from what we already saw and heard in December. What is certain is that his personal combination of classic metal and hard rock is guaranteed. Even so, it’s a good opportunity to see a band that never disappoints live, quite the contrary. Think of Barni as good wine; the older, the better, so don’t miss the chance to see and hear Barni on stage.

Lázaro is making his first official appearance of 2026. He ended 2025 playing at this same venue, and he will begin 2026 the same way, hoping that this will be the start of a much more active year. Lázaro has a history and career spanning more than 30 years, highlighting his official albums “No Más Vendas” from 1997, “Crear O Reventar” from 1999, and the live album “Escenarios” from 2001. However, Lázaro has been producing and releasing several singles digitally, which can be heard on digital platforms.

Beyond Lázaro’s classics, which are always welcome, the question is whether this time the band will surprise us with something new, especially since the band has been preparing for some time now a cover of a band well known to Heavy Metal fans. We’ll see. In any case, some time ago Hernán Parafioriti gave us a preview, talking about the possibility of a new album: “The idea of an album is always there, but it’s still just an idea. Soon we’re going to release a cover of an international band that doesn’t resemble our style but that we really like, so we covered one of their songs and we’ll see what people think of it.”

The band that will surely open the show on the night of March 28 is Raza Fuerte. They are an underground band from the Buenos Aires suburbs that has always flown the flag of traditional Heavy Metal. They are also back, and the occasion couldn’t be better. For those who don’t know Raza Fuerte, the band has been around since the late ’90s, and through a few demos and their journey through the Buenos Aires underground scene, they have managed to become recognized as a cult band. This occasion is a good opportunity to enjoy their classics again, and maybe even some new stuff.
By the way, we remember what Pato Saucedo, Raza Fuerte’s vocalist, told us at the beginning of the year about this first performance of 2026. “We think March 28 will be a party, since we’ll be meeting iconic bands from the 90s and 2000s at the festival that are still going strong today. The opportunity came about thanks to our friend, producer, and fan Ale Galeano. He always kept us in mind, and even though he may not know it, he is one of the reasons the band is still around. The idea is to start the year this way, and if people are into it, let this be the kickoff”, he said.

He also mentioned that “The idea for this show is to open with the classics and close with five new songs. The songs are already 80% recorded, and four of them will be included on the EP that will be released in 2026,” so let’s hope we get some new material from Raza Fuerte. We’ll be hearing a preview on the night of March 28 at the Marquee Session Live. One thing we’re sure of is that there will be no shortage of Heavy Metal!
