New compilation album across the period between 2007 and 2025 | Lament will release “The Last Journey: 32 Years Of Resilience”
The legendary band Lament, led by our dear friend Abel Gomez, is preparing to release a new album. This time, it is a compilation of Lament songs from 2007 to 2025. It will be called “The Last Journey: 32 Years Of Resilience” and will be the band’s second compilation album. Remember that in 2007, “The Best Of Lament: 14 Years Rocking The World” was released, which contained part of everything Lament had recorded from its inception until 2007.
According to Abel, the idea is for this new album to contain two songs from each album released between 2007 and the present, including some tracks only released on compilations. But that’s not all. “I’m planning to release it in November or December of this year. It will be released by Lament Records and will contain a previously unreleased track called ‘Resiliencia’, which is completely new and will only be available on this album. The physical album will come with a free poster and sticker. It will be limited to 300 copies.”; according to the Mexican band’s leader.
Regarding the physical edition of this compilation, Abel added, “It’s a very well-done work. The design and cover were done by Eulo Ortega from Venezuela.” He also told us that “This album features the collaboration of the new guitarists, Jairo and Paco Francisco, and my son, who is on drums. We sent all the selected tracks to New York to be remastered, so I understand that it will be a very good work.”

The band has already revealed the album cover (which is the one illustrating this publication), so all that remains is to wait for its release, which, as Abel Gomez revealed, will only have 300 copies in physical format and will come with some extra gifts for collectors. While we wait for its release, here are the band’s and label’s contact details, and one of their latest tracks, which we hope will be included in this new compilation album.
