Saint, the legendary heavy metal band, will be one of the headliners at Immortal Fest 2025, which will take place on July 27 at the BMI Event Center in Versailles, OH, alongside bands such as Fear Not, Whitecross, Millennial Reign, and others.
That’s why we got in touch with Richard Lynch, Saint’s longtime bassist, who told us that the band has been working hard to prepare for the festival. “We rehearse daily on our own, and are so excited to perform once again. Immortal is a fun time of fellowship with the guys in the band and of course with the fans.” So it will be a good opportunity to enjoy a good dose of traditional heavy metal from a legendary band.

We also took the opportunity to ask Richard about Saint’s future plans, considering that their last studio album was Immortalizer, released in 2024. “we plan on digging in this Fall for a new production. We have 6 to 7 songs almost ready to go.” So it’s clear that not only will we have Saint for a while, but we’ll also have new stuff coming soon.
But it’s not just a new album we can expect from Saint. Richard told us there are plans to re-release the band’s first album, or more precisely, the 1984 EP “Warriors Of The Son.” “ I’ve teamed up with Jim Maxwell (Valor – The Gentiles) and we have re-recorded the first 4 songs from The Gentiles to bring it to a nice production of the original demo from 1980. It will be coupled with the EP Warriors of the Son which is copied from an original 1984 virgin vinyl from Rotton Records. It sounds amazing for what it is.”
If there is one thing that always stands out about Saint, it is their inclination to always stay within traditional Heavy Metal and a style rooted in the sound of the 1980s. In that sense, Richard maintains that “ I don’t see us moving away from the style we do. Besides, traditional metal is the best…”
As we said, Saint will be one of the great bands performing at Immortal Fest 2025.
