Dale Thompson first announced it on his social media, and later confirmed it in several interviews. Among them was the one he gave us a few months ago. 2026 will mark the end of Bride as a band, at least as far as live performances and the production of new albums are concerned. They have their reasons, but the sad reality is that Bride’s story is coming to an end. The End.
There won’t be a “farewell” tour, but in one way or another, Bride will spend the remainder of 2026 performing select shows, which will be the last of their long career. The band has a special connection with Brazil and the Brazilian audience, so it wasn’t far-fetched to think that the band would also consider performing there as part of this sort of “farewell” from the stage. The good news is that in addition to Brazil, Bride is also adding dates in Colombia and Costa Rica, which will also be part of this tour.

This is how it has been announced. Bride will embark on a mini-tour of Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica between November and December 2026, and he won’t be alone. Les Carlsen, the well-known and legendary vocalist of Bloodgood, will also be part of what promises to be a historic event, both due to the setting and the history that both Bride and Carlsen bring to the table.
By the way, Les Carlsen is fully committed to his solo career, through which he has released the album “Free Will,” which he is currently presenting and promoting; he will surely include several Bloodgood classics in his setlist, which is always welcome.

As for Bride, as we mentioned and Dale Thompson himself stated, the band will not release any more albums; however, it is possible that one or two new songs may be released in the coming years, but only digitally. Thus, the double album “Vipers And Shadows” from 2025 will ultimately remain Bride’s final studio work and their lasting legacy.
Regarding these final performances and the band’s end, Dale Thompson told us in the interview we had with him a while back that We are setting our feet lightly now, choosing only a few moments, a few places, where the song still calls for us. There will be no great sweeping tour, no long road stretching out before us. The world we stand in now cannot bear the weight of something that large, and we will not force it. So we move with intention, with gratitude, with the quiet understanding that seasons shift and grace teaches us how to travel differently. What remains for us are these chosen gatherings, small, sincere, and enough, while the larger journey rests in the hands of the One who has always carried the melody.” which can almost be taken as posthumous words for what is expected to be a grand finale to Bride’s extensive history as a band…
This final Bride tour, as mentioned by Dale Thompson himself, will be based on material from “Snakes In The Playground” and “Kinetic Faith,” perhaps their best-known albums from the band’s prime, back in the ’90s.
The tour will kick off in Costa Rica in November and conclude in Belo Horizonte on December 9, with the following dates:

  • 11/28 San Jose, Costa Rica
  • 11/29 Bogotá, Colombia
  • 12/02 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • 12/03 Recife, Brazil
  • 12/05 São Paulo, Brazil
  • 12/06 Curitiba, Brazil
  • 12/08 Brasília, Brazil
  • 12/09 Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Argentina is out of the question, so only Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica will be part of the final chapter of Bride’s story—a unique opportunity to enjoy the Thompson brothers’ last live performances, as well as the perfect chance to see and hear Les Carlsen, another legend, perform live…
