Roxx Records Prepares A Cover Album Featuring Various Bands | Tribute To The 40th Anniversary Of “To Hell With The Devil” Is Coming…
2026 marks the anniversary of one of the iconic albums of so-called White Metal. “To Hell With The Devil” is not only Stryper’s most classic album, but also one of the best albums of the 1980s without a doubt, and as part of the well-deserved celebration, the Roxx Records label is preparing a full-throttle tribute.
With the participation of several bands and artists from the label, it is preparing what will be called “Roxx Records Salutes the Soldiers Under Command on the… 40th Anniversary of To Hell With The Devil,” a compilation album that will include the 10 original tracks from “To Hell With The Devil,” in chronological order and as they appear on the original release, with each participating band/artist’s personal interpretation.
Thus, we will see Reign Of Glory, German Pascual, All For The King, Motivik, Undoubting Thomas, Testimony Of Apocalypse, etc., each performing one track from this Metal classic in their own style, with the added bonus track “Soldiers Under Command” performed by Severed Angel.
Roxx Records makes this announcement, stating that “…When we initially put the call out to many of our artists, we were not sure what to expect or how much support we would get. We were blown away at the quick response and overwhelming love and support out there for this 40-year-old, dare we say “classic” album, and all the accomplishments it made and doors that it opened. This release all came together easily and very nicely with amazing new interpretations of all the tracks and music. As well as amazing music for this salute, we have amazing new artwork featuring a new interpretation of the iconic “angel” cover art, which has been redesigned by Juan Carlos Arce of Lux Studio.”
