Fures Promises To Destroy Everything | The Fury Of Metal Has A Woman’s Face
It’s truly a rare find to come across a band made up entirely of women, and perhaps even more unusual in the metal scene, where men have historically ruled. Fures breaks with this tradition, which is certainly outdated, and bursts onto the national metal scene with a sound based on Thrash Metal with a dose of Groove Metal and an attitude that breaks all the rules.

Fures was founded in 2022, but it was in 2025 that the band seemed to have reached stability, and for some time now, they have been releasing songs of their own composition, which are truly of great quality. In particular, Fures has released the songs “Medusa” and “Laberinto,” both of which have music videos circulating on social media.
Meanwhile, Fures has been performing frequently on the Buenos Aires underground scene, showcasing everything the band is capable of live. One thing is certain: there is no shortage of Metal here.
The band consists of Mortiz on vocals, Victoria and Ale on guitars, Sil on bass, and Vickita on drums. A basic and classic lineup that offers a dose of Thrash Metal, fury, solid foundations, and a twist on the genre that includes some influences based on Groove metal, which, added to Mortiz’s particular vocal range, gives Fures an originality rarely seen.

In particular, “Medusa” is a mid-tempo song with a strong foundation and dense guitars. In this sense, the composition of the song in question shows an interesting diversity in the construction of the different riffs that make it up. “Laberinto,” on the other hand, shows the more thrash side of Fures, with foundations and riffs that have a certain Slayer vibe.
Both “Medusa” and “Laberinto” are the calling card of Fures, a band that is making a name for itself in the Buenos Aires underground scene and is definitely worth paying attention to. Will we soon have the opportunity to hear Fures’ first album? The girls deserve to capture this excellent moment the band is experiencing on an album, and it seems that there may be news in this regard in 2026, as they have announced on their social media. In any case, the main thing is that Fures is kicking off the year with their first date of the year at the MEDUSA INMORTAL mini-fest on February 20 at BARRA, Ruta 197 and Trejo, Los Polvorines, North Zone of Buenos Aires, alongside Hijos De La Letania, Zerpas, and Vulcanos.
