Once again, Alberto Zamarbide will be stepping onto Argentine soil to continue commemorating two fundamental albums in Argentine heavy metal. Specifically, the 40th anniversary of “Un Paso Más En La Batalla,” V8’s second album, and the 30th anniversary of Logos’ “Generación Mutante.”
After a great performance in September of this year at the “Groove” venue in Palermo, Buenos Aires, Zamarbide will do the same during the month of December in several locations in the interior of Argentina to continue presenting this remembrance of these two great metal classics.

The dates are as follows:

  • 12/05 Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut
  • 12/06 Patagonia Metal Under Headquarters, Pico Truncado, Santa Cruz
  • 12/07 Juarez Heavy Rock Fest, Benito Juárez, Province of Buenos Aires
  • 12/08 La Cumbre Del Metal No. 40, Teatro Greison, Monte Grande, Province of Buenos Aires
  • 12/12 Salón Estancia Del Este, Salta
  • 12/13 Club Villa Luján, Tucumán
  • 12/14 Tinkuy, Santiago Del Estero

Of particular interest is the performance on December 8 as part of the well-known “Cumbre Del Metal,” an event at which “Hurling Metal,” its organizer, will also celebrate 40 years in the metal scene. On that occasion, Zamarbide will perform alongside Reinará La Tempestad, In-Dios, Ojos Negros, Armored Dawn from Brazil, and Harpya.

For those who are unfamiliar or have forgotten, “Un Paso Más En La Batalla” was the second album by V8, a pioneering Argentine heavy metal band, originally recorded by the band’s classic lineup (Zamarbide – Iorio – Rowek – Civile) in 1984, although it was released, with a delay, in 1985. The aforementioned album is a catalog of national metal classics such as “Deseando Destruir Y Matar,” “Cautivos Del Sistema,” “Ideando La Fuga,” and “Momento De Luchar,” among others. A veritable arsenal of fierce heavy metal, which will be reviewed by Zamarbide.
On the other hand, “Generación Mutante” was Logos’ second album, on which Alberto Zamarbide was also the vocalist. In this case, Logos attempted to give a new twist to the style captured in “La Industria Del Poder,” managing to create an album that was not without controversy, both for its sound, unprecedented for its time, and for its lyrics, which were more socially conscious than on their first album. Even so, it managed to establish more than one classic for Logos, such as “Arden En El Cielo,” “Cuando Acecha La Maldad,” and the title track.
This tour is a good opportunity to remember both albums, in the unwavering voice of Alberto Zamarbide, one of the last apostles of National Heavy Metal. Here is the information about the producer and management of this tour so you can keep an eye out for tickets. We would also like to let you know that there will be buses for the “Cumbre Del Metal” on December 8….
