The Struggle Continues…

I’ve always liked the image, or at least what it represents at first glance. Beyond the historical significance of the event itself, the sight of a simple man facing a war tank without caring about anything brings to mind several reflections. What moves me most is facing everything that comes your way, regardless of its size or lethality, alone. Allowing for the differences, I think about what it means to take on a project as a band, a label, a production company, a media outlet, etc., within the world of Metal. Everything is an uphill battle, especially because in the vast majority of cases, the goal is not profit or financial gain (although there must clearly be cases where it is), but rather the gain comes from elsewhere, as I have pointed out more than once.
In our case, not having any advertising or sponsors of any kind means a significant investment in this. I’m not complaining, especially because doing it this way allows us the freedom to express our opinions and say whatever comes to mind and whatever we feel, without being tied to any commitment of any kind. The ultimate goal is to spread the word about White Metal and National Metal, in our own way and with our own style, without anyone on this earth telling us what to do or say. That obviously has its price, but we always stand with the Metal underground.
On the other hand, I don’t regret giving this idea a stamp that is distantly related to the old fanzines. That’s why we like to talk about like a webzine. For most of the content, we prefer writing and reading, something that has been neglected lately. I respect and am aware of the reach of new forms of communication, but we prefer and stick with writing (good or bad), which is what we like, and we bet on those who prefer or enjoy reading, even though we may not be Cervantes when it comes to doing so.
It seems that all this means being alone, or almost alone, in the fight. When you decide to do things in a way that others do not approve of, not only do they not support you, but they even end up recommending that you “invest in social media,” as an idiot from a production company that is not worth mentioning recommended to me. Anyway. We are taking a chance on the more difficult side of the issue, but at the same time, it makes me happy that we are doing something different from the majority, and not only because of our faith, but also because of the way we are carrying out this project, which, we warn you, does not end with this webzine. God willing, there will be more, much more. We will see what the future holds.
Going against everything and everyone is our way of doing things, and also a way of life, the life we choose because we believe in God and Christ. As that old V8 song says, “…There is no other way but the narrow one without masks for those who are not clowns in this circus. That’s why we’ve already discarded the bonds that tie us to the ideals of men.”; Don’t come to us with cheap talk and ideals that are sold to people who have no brains. We, from Metal, spread a single truth. Religious additions are for the anesthetized masses…
