Total Thrashing Zine No. 1 – October 2008

I don’t really remember how this fanzine came into my possession, but it is indeed among my personal archives. Among so much material, there it was, and as I leafed through it, I could at least remember that I had indeed read it at some point, but my memory fails me as to the circumstances in which I acquired it. The point is that I thought it would be a good idea to scan it in its entirety and share it, despite the years that have passed, as a way of remembering how White Metal was promoted here in Argentina. Always with few resources, little money, and no support from those who are supposed to support the movement, but with a lot of effort, passion, and desire to do things.
Apparently, this is the first issue of this zine, published in October 2008 and dedicated entirely to Christian Thrash Metal. Produced in the city of Bariloche, in the Argentine province of Rio Negro, it includes articles on classic bands such as Believer, Sacrament, Ultimatum, Disaffection, etc. The tone is rather relaxed, with humorous articles such as the “Thrash Metal manual.” It’s really impeccable, and the design is very good.
If anyone remembers its editor (Lucas Aravena), it would be good to know if he is still active, if more issues of this great zine were published, etc. Any information is welcome!And since we are moved by the true spirit of Heavy Metal, brotherhood, and sharing things made independently, here is the first issue of this great fanzine in PDF format. Share it, spread the word, and above all, let’s take this as an example of how, with few resources, great things can be done to help spread the word!
